About the Role

This role focuses on brand protection, cyber risk monitoring, and API governance activities to support Bajaj Finance’s information security operations.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Protection & External Risk Monitoring

• Monitor phishing domains, fake websites, mobile apps, and impersonation attempts
• Review alerts from brand protection and digital risk monitoring tools
• Validate alerts to filter false positives
• Escalate confirmed incidents as per incident management process
• Track takedown actions and closure status

Reporting, Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on brand monitoring activities
• Maintain trackers, dashboards, and audit evidence
• Follow SOPs, escalation matrices, and security policies
• Support internal audits and regulatory reviews

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with application teams, platform teams, and vendors
• Track remediation timelines and closures
• Support senior team members during security reviews

API Governance & Monitoring

• Support API governance activities and basic API security monitoring

Requirements

• Graduate / Engineering Graduate in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field
• 0–1 years of experience in IT or information security operations
• Freshers with relevant internships or coursework can apply
• Understanding of phishing, brand abuse, and cyber attack techniques
• Knowledge of domains, URLs, DNS, and internet-facing assets
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting dashboards
• Basic understanding of APIs (REST, endpoints, authentication concepts)
• Awareness of API security concepts like OAuth, API keys, rate limiting
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn security tools
• Team player with stakeholder coordination ability
