About the Role

As an SDE – Backend Intern at CloudSEK, you’ll collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for cutting-edge cybersecurity products. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies and scalable architectures that protect digital assets globally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design and build backend components for cyber security products.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using NodeJS or Go.
• Work closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in backend development and cyber security.
• Assist in documenting technical specifications and development processes.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in NodeJS or Go.
• Basic understanding of web technologies, APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and caching mechanisms.
