About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our IT team and provide frontline technical support to users and clients. This role is perfect for someone looking to build IT career skills with a year of experience and eager to learn more.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line support, responding to IT queries for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, user profiles, and shared drives.
- Support Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Help with user account setup and password resets in Active Directory.
- Log, update, and close helpdesk tickets.
- Provide remote support for users; escalate complex issues as needed.
- Support IT security practices (phishing, updates).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Approximately 1 year IT support experience (internship, service desk, or junior role).
- Basic Windows 10/11 knowledge.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Office apps).
- Understanding of networking basics (IP, DNS, DHCP) beneficial.
- CompTIA A+ or related certification is a plus.
