About the Role
As an SDE – Backend Intern at CloudSEK, you’ll collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for cutting-edge cybersecurity products. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies and scalable architectures that protect digital assets globally.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design and build backend components for cyber security products.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using NodeJS or Go.
- Work closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in backend development and cyber security.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications and development processes.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in NodeJS or Go.
- Basic understanding of web technologies, APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and caching mechanisms.
