Job Description:

• Be responsible for underwriting of life insurance applications.
• Evaluate medical, financial, and non-medical information to determine the risk classification according to company guidelines.
• Reviews evidence on proposal forms, pre-policy medical check-ups, Tele/Video-MER, income documents and past medical records to appropriately
• Recommend & take decisions on application for issuance (standard or altered terms) or declination as per authority matrix
• Liaise with reinsurers for decisions on facultative referral proposals
• Underwriting process design and documentation
• Work with the various internal teams and liaise for Underwriting in the process of designing workflow for retail customers & would be responsible for documenting/reviewing underwriting requirements.
• Conduct market research/ market requirement study on Underwriting practices and availability of products and benefits for parity.
