Key Responsibilities

- Create reflowing ebook files (Kindle and ePub) that work on phone, e-reader and tablet
- Handle image placement, tables, footnotes and layout for varied genres
- Deliver files that meet Amazon KDP and IngramSpark technical requirements without rejection
- Perform quality checks and fix issues before submission
- Communicate with the production team and meet project requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Proven experience formatting books for print and ebook publication
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of typesetting conventions
- Able to handle images, tables, footnotes and varied layouts
- Reliable internet and availability during some overlapping hours with the UK-based team
- Portfolio or work samples to demonstrate previous formatted books
- Willing to explain formatting choices and discuss a book you formatted
