The selected candidate will handle tablet and capsule inspection operations and make sure that quality products are manufactured in conformance with c-GMP, safety and hygiene requirements on a shift to shift basis, while maintaining overall discipline and productivity on the line. Key Responsibilities
- Complete the required training before executing any manufacturing operation for tablet and capsule inspection
- Fill all documents contemporaneously and keep entries legible, readable, accurate and original
- Follow GDP practices to avoid overwriting and errors in documents
- Use your own login ID and password only and never share it with anyone, wherever applicable
- Follow instructions for new machines and methodology in line with quality standards
- Clean equipment and line for Type A, B and D cleaning during product or batch change and major mechanical maintenance jobs
- Visually check for the absence of any residue of the previous product or any extraneous matter
- Apply status labels as per SOP and handle rejections as defined in the SOP
- Use proper PPE such as face shield, goggles, hand gloves and nose mask during machine operation and cleaning
- Know the hazards linked to the product, machine, equipment or tools and report any unsafe act or condition to the supervisor immediately
- Take changeover on the machine from product to product or batch to batch as per SOP
- Set machine parameters as defined in the BMR or SOP and check SFG product name, batch number and material weight against the BMR
- Check visual defects periodically and run the machine as instructed by the line or shift supervisor
- Inform the line supervisor immediately in case of any non conformity or deviation
- Keep the machine and surrounding area clean through the shift and ensure there is no spillage of material on the floor
- Deliver the expected output from the machine in the shift and address minor machine setting issues, informing the supervisor during any breakdown
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc / B.Pharma qualification
- Willingness to work in a shift based, onsite manufacturing role in India
- Understanding of c-GMP, GDP and SOP driven documentation
- Awareness of safety, hygiene and PPE requirements in a pharmaceutical plant
Skills Required
- Machine operation, changeover and basic troubleshooting on tablet and capsule inspection lines
- Line and equipment cleaning as per SOP
- Accurate online documentation and record keeping
- Strong attention to detail for visual defect checking
- Safety awareness and hazard identification
- Coordination and timely reporting with line and shift supervisors
